The files here are snapshots of the engine at each release.
These are nightly snapshots of the Darcs repository at http://darcs.hoelzro.net/eot. Other than grabbing the code directly from the repository itself, this is the most up-to-date code you can get for Epic of Thalia. NOTE: This code in these files is not guaranteed to build, let alone work properly.
If you're interested in getting the very latest (unstable) source for the Epic of Thalia engine, you can use darcs to get it from our repository at http://darcs.hoelzro.net/eot. More information on how to use darcs, please visit the darcs homepage.
If you're using Windows or Mac OS X, and you're interested in building from a nightly snapshot or code retrieved from our Darcs repository, keep in mind that although we officially support these platforms, I tend to implement new features for Linux and BSD systems first, so the engine features on other operating systems tend to lag behind a bit. I do my best to write platform-independent code, but I seldom get the opportunity to test it until I make an official release, so please be patient if something doesn't compile or work properly. Also, if you find any problems, please let me know so I can fix them.
Although you can compile the engine with just the code from a source tarball or the Darcs repository, you need the media (textures, models, etc) to actually run the game. You can get those here.
